Such a nice time!

Last night, Chris, the kids, and I had the best time just visiting with our friends Jose and Laura and their girls.  Thank you all for being so welcoming!  We truly love you guys!  During the day, we were able to enjoy some free time, which is not the norm for us.  Chris took a break from his studies and spent a couple of hours with Alyssa at the driving range for kids.  That's right, my girl loves to golf.  She really just soaks up instruction and has a knack for sports and all things physical.  Julianna and I spent some time together just the two of us, which is something neither one of us can ever get enough of.  Then we all came back together and went out to one of our favorite places for dinner...Mongolian BBQ!  And then we were off to spend the evening with our good friends.  I am grateful for days like these and that we made the most of it!

Well, I have decided to finally give blogging a shot.  I have been thinking about doing it for so long and I have realized that this is a great way to document my days and activities, as well as to keep in touch with people I don't get to see as often as I'd like to.  I also think it will be a great way for me to recount the ways in which I am so blessed everyday in subtle ways that I may not even realize until I go to share them with my friends and family.  Life just happens so fast; and I really want to appreciate the little things that happen every day.  Thanks for reading and I hope that this is a way to connect to all of you that I would love to spend more time talking to and visiting.
